This is where you get a chance to get feedback on your work and share ideas with others.
What type of student will succeed in these courses?
Aprendi Learning courses are designed to meet the needs of a variety of students. TEACHERS
What is an Aprendi course like?
Aprendi courses are designed to provide a university-level experience to all students. Courses run for approximately five weeks and are comprised of 10-15 lessons each that include readings, lectures, clips, and other resources. Students will also be expected to engage in an interactive discussion with faculty & classmates via chat room or bulletin board. This provides an opportunity to provide feedback and share ideas with the class.
How can I build or teach a course?
Professors who have or want to create online courses can contact us for more information about licensing opportunities. We are looking to expand our available course offerings, especially within the Film, TV & Digital Media topics. Anyone interested in being an Instructor who manages students can also contact us for more information.
Who is responsible for teaching students during the course?
Every course is directed by an Instructor who interacts with students on a day-to-day basis. The Instructor answers student questions, leads online discussions, and grades assignments. Instructors are hired and managed by Aprendi and are not required to be the same Professor who created the course content. We always welcome recommendations for new Instructors.
What content is the Professor expected to provide?
The Professor is expected to create the course syllabus and define the content for lessons & assignments. Each course is comprised of 10-15 lessons that usually include the following tasks:
Readings
Professors will need to provide scanned articles and/or list of required books.
Lectures
Professors will need to provide audio files & powerpoints OR recorded video lectures.

What does it cost to run an Aprendi course?
There is no fee to build or run a course as part of an Aprendi online learning program. Professors will need to invest time to create the course syllabus & assignments, but there are no direct costs to use the platform.
Who owns the content for courses offered through Aprendi University?
You do. The professor maintains ownership for any course content he/she creates for an Aprendi University course. Aprendi will license the provided course content and share enrollment revenue with the professor. Professors will, however, need to guarantee access to the content while students are enrolled.
How do I earn money from enrollment fees?
Enrollment fees are shared between two key teaching roles: Professors and Instructors. Professors define the overall course syllabus and create the course materials and lectures. Instructors manage student discussions, grading, and interact directly with students during live sessions of the course. Professors are not required to assist the Instructor with student issues. A single person can perform both duties if permitted by his/her home university. The Professor earns 30% of the enrollment fees for his/her course, and Instructors hired by Aprendi earn 20% of enrollment fees for managing the day-to-day responsibilities.
Who handles technical support during the course?
Any technical questions or issues relating to the Aprendi learning platform will be addressed directly by Aprendi staff. Student questions of this nature can be forwarded to customer support.
